Prohibited Activities

The following behaviors will result in immediate bans and may be reported to authorities:

Harassment & Abuse

Threats, intimidation, or bullying
Hate speech targeting race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality
Targeted harassment of individuals or groups
Stalking or persistent unwanted contact

Mature & Sexual Content

Nudity or sexually graphic conduct
Sexual solicitation or propositions
Sharing mature website links or content
Sexually suggestive gestures or language
Graphic sexual conversations

Illegal Activities

Promoting illegal substances
Discussing or planning illegal acts
Copyright infringement (sharing pirated content)
Fraud, scams, or phishing attempts
Soliciting money or financial information

Privacy Violations

Recording, screenshotting, or streaming other users without consent
Attempting to discover personal information (doxxing)
Sharing someone else's private information
Attempting to identify or locate users offline

Spam & Platform Abuse

Advertising products, services, or other platforms
Repeatedly connecting to skip without engaging
Using bots, scripts, or automated tools
Posting spam links or promotional content
Attempting to manipulate or exploit the platform

Impersonation

Pretending to be Madrid Talk staff or moderators
Impersonating celebrities, brands, or other users
Misrepresenting your identity for deceptive purposes

Enforcement & Consequences

Violations result in escalating action:

First offense: Typically permanent ban. Zero-tolerance policies (harassment, mature content, illegal activity) lead to immediate, indefinite bans without warning.

Appeals: Bans are rarely appealed. If you believe a ban was issued in error, contact [email protected] with relevant details.
Legal escalation: Severe violations (threats, illegal content) may be reported to law enforcement.

Reporting Violations

Use the "Report" button during a chat to flag violations. Provide context when possible—our moderation team reviews each report manually. For non-urgent concerns, email [email protected] with:

Username (if known)
Date and time of incident
Detailed description of what occurred
Any supporting evidence (screenshots, recordings you legally obtained)

Moderation Philosophy

Our moderation approach balances safety with fairness:

Automated systems flag potential violations for human review
Human moderators make final decisions with context
We consider intent, history, and severity when determining action
False reports are taken seriously and may result in limits on reporting privileges
We continuously improve our policies based on emerging issues
